When a WSS user clicks on Explorer View, a username and password prompt appears.
If the user tries to re-enter the information, an error is thrown. Only by
clicking on "Cancel" can you get to "Explorer View".
Unfortunately, this is
"normal" behaviour for this SharePoint release; it is a bug that Microsoft will
hopefully release a patch for in the near future, but has yet to.
