The Urchin Traffic Monitor (UTM) is a method to more closely track and measure website visitors.
The UTM consists of two components: The UTM sensor, which is a small JavaScript file that you need to include in your web pages; and the UTM engine which is part of the reporting or Urchin server.
To use the UTM you will need to include a small JavaScript file in all the pages of your website. If you have a common header file for all your pages then it's a snap. Just include the __utm.js file in that page.
